Sooner or later, you may wish to sell your unit. This is an important time for any homeowner and you should proceed carefully.
First, check the legal documents, there are rules governing sales. When you sell your unit, you are responsible for informing the new owner about the association, how it operates and what the individual residents’ responsibilities are. Special care should be taken to explain the common charges and the rules and regulations. It is also your responsibility to give the new owner the public offering statement that was provided by the developer upon the initial sale of the unit.
